Welcome to the life of Elder Nelson!!
Thanks again for tuning in this week for my weekly letter of inspiration! I have received so many letters this week and am enjoying them. Please continue to send even more so I can enjoy my funny and loving family and friends!!
🔹it's always the hardest to start a letter that usually takes me about 45 to an hour! #jk hope I'm lighting up the crowd for This weeks letter! Please write back so I can know you're reading and enjoying. Also if you have any questions I would love to respond to the entire body instead of each of you cause we can learn more about what's going on and I can feel more productive in my emails! But if you want to ask personal questions I would love those to!!
🔸this week while looking for a member we had no idea who so we decided to pray. it was about closing time😔 but then we both had an idea about a member and gave him a call and after he agreed to come we remembered
that he was a teacher and the person we were gonna see was a teacher as well!! Miracles happen!!!
🔷 while on exchange with elder Wagstaff in Lake Field we went to this investigators house and they were very frustrated at the moment and didn't want to chat because they had lost a lens to their daughters glasses. We shared a quick message and asked if we could pray and look for it! My personal feeling at this moment was excited. I thought we would find it in seconds... my faith was very high!! So after about 5 minutes and after learning that they have turned the house upside down my faith had gone out the window and back to Utah! And
begin to think how long will we look cause we will never find it!! Then when all hope was lost the member we were with looks down and the lens is right next to him! He picks it up and I was slapped by a spiritual hand! Hahah but really it was a miracle! Also they made it to church this Sunday and brought 2 friends!!! I love God!
I finished the Book of Mormon this week! And loved ever bit of it and can't wait to read it again! I know the Book of Mormon is true and because I have found this out I know that I'm loved and that no matter how many times I mess up God is always helping me to be better and setting up a plan for me to use the atonement to return to him!
😇this kid named Gregory saw us biking around and came up to us and wanted to know how he could ride around on bikes and share about God! We are excited to show him how! Will let you know anything else next week!!!! God loves us!
😘I was talking about my family this week with a member and I love you all so very much and am grateful for the support I had and have to be on a mission!!!! Smooches!!
While biking this sketchy van came up to us and come to find out it's a super less active and we took the ride and I got a picture!
Also, brother Dawson asked me to cut his hair I was excited to do it!! I love you all so much and am grateful for all you do!! Please pray for those in need!!
Also don't think your so bad that God doesn't want to hear from you! As a representative of Jesus Christ and our Father he loves to hear from you! And help you!

Really good week. found out one of my old zone leaders is my new zone leader so I'm excited!! Love that guy!!
We saw some miracles this week!! We had one of those really sad days that makes you want to quit, and
so I was laying in the grass and elder Galbraith was sitting there! And then this lady walks up and says "are you'll from the Lds church" and we said yes we are. She was very excited and told us about how she was gonna order a Book of Mormon and so you can guess how that meeting went and so we're excited to see her again!!!!!!!!!
Lisa is a lady we have been working with since I got here and she just hasn't wanted to progress! So we had a drop lesson telling her that she needs to step it up and it was so sad totally broke my heart! I have some how made it so I love people in a short time. That's probably the reason RMs get married so quick!!#haha! But then she showed up to church the next week!! Haha crazy we will see what happens!!!
We met this Asian man last night that yelled at us and we hardly understood a word he said. It was pretty funny! He told us to go back to our preacher and learn more before we came back to his house!! Hahah God bless Merica!!
In one of the videos I sent of us hitting golf balls into the pond. That guy (like have talked about a bit brother Dawson?) he was on the other side and we didn't really know until we hit one and he yelled like he got hit... it was pretty funny!! Hahahah!

Someone told me this week that each one of us is gonna have to stand up in a world where the cool thing is to sit down! I know it's true we need to step it up!

Here's the thing with missionary work... it's like you hit a down hill patch and get on your feet then the hills and the rough spots come up and you slow down and lose your footing and struggle!
Early in this week we were able to help this girl move out just me and my companion and it was a blast. we moved so many things and they were so proud of us and most of you know where I get my energy from... that's
right... compliments and love!! So I was on fire!!! 😍
FYI transfers came up and nobody in the whole district is getting transferred! Yay!!
I have been using my leatherman to my best efforts and I cannot find something it can't handle! Thanks again!!😀

Had dinner with this really great family and it was a totally blast. most of you know how much I love drama and hanging out with girls and that's exactly what we did!!! If it would have been appropriate to get my eyebrows waxed I tots would have done it!!!
I have a testimony that Christ loves each of us and that he will be with us and is waiting. When we're ready to turn around and look for him he'll be there!

This week has been great! I love all the messages and love I received this week. I feel the prays and am grateful!!
We met this lady named Mandy! She is great. We first knocked on her door and got talking and she talked about how she had been watching a movie on Mormons and that she knows somewhat of the restoration! She
loved the message and committed to be baptized on the 22 of next month! Yay!! Super exciting!!
I was able to go on a exchange with Elder Sherman. He's super fun. While we were out there was a couple funny story's!
First, we met this guy named Brandon! He was a little crazy and stopped us while biking on a super busy road. He walked probably 5 miles to get a movie from wal mart???? So we got talking and finally he said "lets pray........ Shoot I'll even pray" his face goes pale "I haven't prayed in years" starts praying and I didn't catch much but
something I did went something like this" please bless these guys that they'll be A okay!"
Second story! While biking home elder Sherman tells me of a raspberry plant on the side of the street on the way home. I was a little skeptical but had to follow. He said he had been eating it and beguiled me into eating it! Thus Adam and eves traditional continues!! But really the raspberry was pretty good!
We had a very exciting baptism for a child named cooper! He is the best! While the second counselor was welcoming them into the ward he showed them a sharp and rough looking rock! And then showed them a
little smooth rock and asked them what the difference was. One of the kids said its black and another said its softer and another said smaller! And the second counsel said yes it's smoother and told the kids that by living the gospel you'll become like this rock and the little kid shouted were gonna become BLACK??? And we all laughed
pretty hard!!!
This week I had so many good people help me get a leather man for my bday and I am so grateful🙏 thank you all so much!!

This week has been a blast! We had a lot of success due to the amount of fun we were able to have! I learned a couple new things: Number one - I can now throw a cowboy rope thingy and hit a chair and grab the chair. It's amazing! There's a kid from Texas that is a super farmer kid. He's hilarious and has a lot of rope to throw!
So when I went on exchanges with the zone leaders and they had the rope in their home and I was able to learn how to throw it. They also taught me all the things I need to know as a district leader!
We were able to meet with less active member named Angela... she was a hoot. We showed up at her house about Saturday night at 8 o'clock. She was about to go to a different church in the morning. She hasn't been in contact with the church for about two years. We were able to talk her into maybe coming to church this week. She ended up not making it. We will be able to meet with her tonight and hopefully be able to set some more goals for her to shoot for. The funniest part was she called Brigham Young a pimp and that the Brigham Young University is just a pimp school! #mormonproblems
I've mentioned Brother Dawson before, but we have a new thing we made up. Code name through another brother Dawson's code name is "Papa bear" Elder Galbraiths name is "Lonewolf." Here is the finale... my code name is "cobra." It's pretty funny when they call each other. We use these names and also when we shoot text messages and everything is in code #wegohard
I'm so grateful for all the love and support! Please call my mom and dad and tell them I love them and that their the best parents in the world! Love you both!!!!
