The Holidays (Jan. 4, 2016)

Hello those that read! I'm so grateful for the love I felt this week!  Thanks again for all you do for me. I feel the love!

So here's the week in a nutshell!

One day we were trying to make a turn and fell into a ditch but don't worry with the skills Wyatt has taught me over the years i was able to get out of it!  This was Christmas Eve!

On Christmas Eve we had dinner at the Wrights! They are so good to us... they fed us pizza! Yum! The perfect Christmas Eve dinner. So then we made cookies and I killed it!  I also did a handstand competition with
the son Isaac, and totally won......nbd.  Now, Christmas morning, we went to the Dicksons and had breakfast and it was so good! Then I called home and it was so good to see the family.  Most of them missed me so much and it was pretty much them just crying.... And saying they love me #tellmesomethingidomtknow.........just kidding, we had some funny convos and I got to see some of the new nephews and nieces to the fam!.

After that we went home to plan and I kinda got an idea on making this sweet ball thing I'll try to send a video!.
Then we had dinner with the Esklsons and they had their two sons in town so we got to talk about missions and how fun they are.  Then elder Huff called home while I owned everyone in Mexican Train with dominos. It was a blast and I really didn't even win but they were fun.

Earlier this week we had a Christmas party with half the mission and our mission president dressed up as Santa and walked around and hugged us... it was great. And then we played some games and after all was said
and done It was a good time.

We went to these old folks home to do some caroling and it was a great time!  We had the whole district there and we kept messing up on songs but don't worry... most of the people didn't have a clue what was going
on so! It was a blast! I kept thinking I wanted to run into the rooms where the people were sleeping and start singing "turn down for what?" but I never did...

So that's about my week!  Happy Holidays everyone!  Love you all!

y week! Happy holidays Everyone love

Christ was born for you! (Dec. 22, 2015)

My peoples. I am still with you. #dontplayaplayer.

We back in it! I feel like just the other day I was talking with you all about how last week went! And now here I am telling you about this week!

Well funny story's always are the best! So it's kinda gross to but here it is.  So we went to visit this lady that's living with ms. J.  Ms. J has a dog that doesn't have use of its back legs so it's kinda sad.  We pulled up to the house and the dog got out of the house and was just dragging the back half around and cutting himself up pretty bad on the pavement.πŸ˜₯ so me and elder Christensen showed up and they yelled at us to help catch this dog so we finally did and elder Christensen picks him up and he's facing Ms. J and the dog starts peeing all over her and I finally said something..

Back to the good stuff!

So on Wednesday night we visit this family that we have been teaching and we all sat around the campfire and taught the restoration and the kids loved it!   They understood the purpose for prophets and wanted the Book Of Mormon to find out so we invited them all to be baptized and they said yes! So we're excited to work with this family!

This week we did another Christmas stand "A Savior is Born" and this one guy kept showing up.  His name was Price so we decided to invite him to church and see what happens.  So we lined up a ride for him and picked him up with one of the members and when the member saw him he said elders you need to watch out this guy is bad. So the whole day we were freaking out thinks he was gonna go crazy on everyone but nothing ever happened! But we did have multiple members come up to us and ask us why we brought him.  So I guess that guy won't have the chance to learn more.. πŸ€”

We went to the Henries and had dinner! They are always so sweet to us.  They gave us gifts and also had us make gingerbread houses and it was hilarious!!

While at Pizza Hut I was kinda people watching and saw this older couple and they got their food and then reached over the table with one hand and held hands while they prayed and it was so powerful to watch these people and their strong testimonies just though how they loved each other and their motivation to give thanks.!

Today I will have a camera go down my mouth and check out my stomach!  I ask for prayers to find out what's happing inside of me! I just have been struggling with eating like a man. And not getting sick!

We had a gift exchange for district meeting this week and the sister that got me is hilarious.  So this last couple weeks I have talking about Santa and if I really want to teach this false doctrine to my children. And so I've been pretty mean to him so this sister got me a Santa shirt a Santa teddy bear thing and Santa candy! It was pretty
funny! Haha!!

I love this gospel... it's there for you!!

Love your letters and love boxes😍😍 thanks again! Love y'all.

Your boy elder Nelson!!!! πŸ€—

How about those Panthers!

Oh joy! I get to send emails!

I am so grateful for all the love and support I get from you all! I feel like an only child with so much love upon me and I feel like everyone's best friend.! Thanks again for all you do for meπŸ––.

Funny story: do you know how the game "what are the odds" works? Well I'm gonna share how it works.  Let's say I was hanging out with my buddy Jessee and we saw this nasty looking bug on the ground.  I would say "hey Jessee what are the odds?" Meaning you pick a number like 1 out of 10 and then I would count down and say 1...2...3.. 8 and if we both said 8 then he would have to eat the bug... So elder Huff was cooking up some frozen chicken nuggets and I said what are the odds he said 10 so then I started to count down 1...2..3 and said 7 he said 7 and he ate the frozen chicken nugget! Super hilarious!!

So we went down to Concord and had a stand With the Concord sisters and shared the new video that the church came out with it was pretty fun. We met a lot of nice and people and some not so nice. Here is a
experience with one lady.  We asked her if we could give her a card and she said no I'm a Roman Catholic, and kept walking.  About 30 minutes or so goes by and she comes walking by and with that short amount of time her heart was softened and she said I'll take a card now! Isn't that amazing?? This gospel is so phenomenal!

While talking with this man we had a good convo about the Book Of Mormon and out of left field he said "let me ask you a question"? I said okay hit me! He said " what do you think about Trump?" I laughed and tried to get the convo back to the Book Of Mormon but next thing you know we were talking about how the government was gonna make a robot that was gonna be the antichrist? Anyways.......................

We had a fun Christmas breakfast party at the church and played Jeopardy with gospel stuff and it was fun but very hard! We had most of the bishopric on our side so we won! #mormonswag?

We went down to the motor speed way and saw the Christmas lights and
it was unreal they probably put more money into those lights then one
of the race cars!

I got nothing else! Hope this finds you well and hope you can pray today thats my only wish.

North Carolina Boy Now!!

What up! I would love to hear from you all doing this season time!  I miss you! Really though!

So how's the world? Saw some crazy stuff on the news the other day while eating at Micky dees! Glad I don't have to stay up to date on all that sadness! But I can focus on the brith of Christ this season and it's really neat to think about how he was born a short 2015 years ago!!!

This week I got to go on a exchange with elder Mautz! He's phenomenal!  He grew up in so Cal! Looks like Harry Potter even though I don't really know how he looks. We had some good convos and learned a lot.  We were
able to do some service for this member and he gave us a bench set with a lot of weights!

Also, got to go on a exchange with elder Skinner and we had a good time.  I stepped in like 2 different poops and got poop all over the place like no joke on my pants my socks all over the inside of the car.  It's a total mess but no worries... we cleaned it.

Okay some great stuff happend this week! We met this lady named Wanda.  She was taking some stuff inside to her house and we asked to help and she was down so we busted it out and shared the new Christmas video "A Savior is born!"  She loved it and wants to find Christ more this season so we will be seeing her soon!!

One of our investigators went to Palmyra, New York and got to visit all the historical sites and we are so excited for her to get into the waters and get clean! She's great!!!

Well here's something else! We had Zone meeting and we were told to bring white elephant gifts so we did and it turned out pretty good and president showed up and was so nice gotta love him!

In gospel principles we were talking about the second coming and I was on a different topic in my mind.  I was thinking about whether I would teach my kids about Santa or not? I know some of you may be like that's the dumbest thing ever but anyways so out of now where I tried to tie in Santa to the second coming? You can imagine how that went!
Hahahah

I also tried a mcrib this week and it wasn't to bad!
