Write these experiences down!

Holy moly.com up in here!
This week has been so unreal it's gonna blow some minds!!!

First off, I'm gonna start with a experience we had with some kids about my age!  So we're looking for a less active member and we showed up to their house and they had moved out but this really nice lady had moved in!  So we started a good convo and she goes to a great church up the way so she didn't seem to promising.  She pretty much was alright with her church! But while we were talking with her some guy upstairs kept coming out of his house and yelling at us saying things like "you believe leave it at dat" and "yo mama got a religion don't try that
$&&@" so we kinda shared what we could with her and then we were kinda ready to leave the area, but I was hoping we could have some one on one with this guy so I acted like I was on the phone for a few minutes and
he came back out! So we got talking and we asked him what he believes he said "I started my own religion and it's all about you you don't need God all you need is you" we wanted to dig deep! So we started asking questions while yelling back and forth! Then next thing you know his neighbors jumps out for some action! So we're smashing these guys with some great comments and we both know it probably wasn't the best but we were having some fun! So by the end of it we all came to the understanding that there was a God and that he created all this,
after that all them mostly left but the first guy and we asked him if he was willing to act on this faith that he has and he was so ready so we gave him some stuff and set a return appointment! 😏

We had a great lesson with this family on the blessings that have come into our lives as we have changed and become closer to God! As I pondered what everyone was saying I thought of my journal and how important that is for recording these experiences that we are having!  I thought of the times I have looked through it in tough days and realized the happy times and how I was living!  I just know we're gonna have hard times where we want to give up where we may want to sin a little but in those times we can look back and see how much happiness the gospel brings into our lives!!!

We called this less active and were asking him if we could visit.  He said not right now cause they found a dead body in the neighborhood!!!! Are you kidding me!  He was laughing and saying my neighbors lost their minds when they found out about that! This guy is the best!

Also in gospel principles this Sunday, one of the sister missionary's investigators had some purple hair things and the teacher was talking about how we can stay modest and one thing she brings up is that her daughter would dye her hair blue and pink and what not and then she said I'm so glad my daughter grow out of that!! Hahaha this poor
investigator was laughing and probably feeling awful!! Hahah gotta love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again for all you do for me I feel the love and prayers!!!!
Love you all so much!!

May god bless you!!

It's a shame that we live in a world where people think parents love their children more then God does.

I'm grateful for this chance to write to you all as a whole and to share my thoughts about what's going on in the work.

I'm grateful for the love and kindness that I feel from each one of you all.

This week has been different. I have had a sore throat most of it and I'm about over it.  But this new training thing is hard! It's so stressful that I haven't gotten a cold sore my whole mission till this last week😒 I know awkward who wants to talk to a guy with a big ole thing on his lip. Gross😭 but on the reals it's crazy! I feel like I'm raising a child and anything I do might make him a bad missionary so it's hard to think about that.

Nothing to crazy happened this week.  We met a lot of new people like always it's just hard to find those who want to progress lately!!

This week we had a funny thing happen where Elder Huff wasn't looking and I hit him with my bike and he fell off and ended up on my back tire with the wheel grinding into his side! Hahaha super funny! He's alright so no worry's!

During fast and testimony meeting this man shared about how he was talking with his neighbor and his neighbor asked him don't you Mormons believe in becoming god and he was kinda surprised by this question so
he waited for the right way to answer.  He then asked him if he has kids and he said yes and he said do you want your kids to have everything you have plus some and he said yes and he said well why would you think Our Heavenly Father would want the same for you then what you want for your kids?. He then said its a shame we live in a world where parents think they love their children more then Heavenly Father loves us.

This week we got to help tile a mans floor in the ward who is a recent convert.  His name is Chris he and his wife joined not to long ago.  They have 5 kids and they are only about 40 or so and she just passed away and it's been pretty sad but he's holding it together pretty well.

I know service is a way to feel true Christ like love! I love these people I love the gospel!!!

I love you all and am grateful for all you do for me love Dan.

Love is the strongest motivation to act!

Hello everyone!  So excited to write to you this week.!  This week has been very fun, interesting and super stressful and exciting!

So last week I got Elder Huff from Cottonwood Heights Utah! He is great and has such a strong testimony of the Gospel and has a lot of knowledge of it!

We're working with this part member family where the father got baptized a few months ago and his wife hasn't had time really to meet with us! But this week were able to meet with both of them and had a very spiritual lesson with that she seems promising to be able to want to enter into the waters of baptism! We're so excited!!

We had Stake Conference this week and we had Elder Anderson come to re-organize the Stake presidency.  He was the one that spoke in General Conference about the music of the Gospel. He shared with us about love is very powerful to think about the influence of the love in my life. I'm pretty sure the only reason why I was able to get out here was because of the love that my family showed me the true Christ like love! And I'm super grateful for it! Talk about the story of two men that broke horses... one of them would ride it around and roughhouse it.  He'd pull super hard back on the rains and really treated it not well and he kicked it and forced it to do things! The other one would whisper in the horses ear, brush it down and give it some loving and then just really let it ride itself. The one that had a less forceful way had more of a loving way was able to break more horses.  I felt like this is the way that we all need to help people grow is by showing love.  It is the greatest way to teach people! In D&c 121: 41 No power or influence can or ought to be maintained by virtue of the priesthood, only by persuasion, by long-suffering, by gentleness and meekness, and by love unfeigned;..."

We talked about persuasion and what it means and he presented in a way that was so loving he said I like to think of persuasion as "sharing information"

I love this gospel.
"people don't care how much we know until they know how much we care"

I love you all so much! I truly do love you!

Please let me know what I can do to help. Elder Nelson!

Happy Thanksgiving!!  Carving pumpkins with my district!

Every mistake is a chance to grow!

Thanks again for all you do for me!  So excited to write you this week.

I'm grateful for all the love letters and kind words that everyone has said to me!

This week is been very interesting!

Wow on exchange with Elder Skinner!   We were biking down the street and some lady waved us down! Do you want to talk to us and we talked about how we can have hope in life because she's going through a hard time!
We able to meet with her in the next couple days at the church with a member and had a wonderful lesson! What a miracle!

We also met this man named David.  He was outside spraying down his flowers as me and elder Hatch walked by. We were a little bit scared of what he was going to do to us! He just look like a scary man but when we got talking to him he was very soft-hearted and he saw something with in us that made him want to look into the church.

One of the general authorities came to our mission! He is our area 70 Elder Kopsicka? Not sure if I spelled that right! Anyways, we had a very spiritual lesson.  He basically went off of the Spirit and taught us whatever he felt was needed! He talked of the full heart and how we need to have full hearts to talk to people and not be shy!

I found out that I will be training this upcoming transfer and Elder Hatch is leaving. Very sad but exciting to be able to train!  Hopefully I will be able to help this kid learn a little bit of how to teach how to preach the gospel.

We found this cheetah statue in the backyard and we decide to bring it in and we play fun games with it.  We always hide it in the places where our companions don't know and then he pops up that scares us! We have
now converted him to be the new signing object so when we leave this area we will sign it and it will be here for decades and be legendary!!!

I love my mission! I speak from deep in my stomach. I love you all so much and I'm grateful for their Christlike love each one of you has shown to me. Move forward continue to progress in God's gospel.  Continue to look for ways to improve your abilities to share the gospel!

I know that God loves!!!

Thanks again love you all so much!!!!
